Basil Nazarencko
Born in Ukraine, Basil studied mechanical engineering in the Odessa State Maritime University and combined his affinity for mechanics and engines with his love of the sea.
He was in charge of the engines on board of the Ice breaker commanded by Captain Sergei Ivanov when he was hired by Julia for the Wopod Corporation.
His serious and efficient work allowed him to be chosen by Captain Sergei for the crew of the Aurora II and he couldn’t refuse the good offer from the Wopod Corporation.
Although the work in the Aurora II is less specialized than other ships with a larger crew and requires everyone to do a bit of everything at times, he is mostly responsible for the engines and all the mechanical parts of the ship to work efficiently.
